Modifiers are recurring limited-time Events that modify either certain aspects of ranked Trials or the entire Gameplay in Dead by Daylight.

The specific modifications depend on the type of Modifier.

Overview

Modifiers were first introduced in early 2024.
Unlike the yearly recurring Seasonal Events, the same type of Modifier can happen multiple times throughout the year.

Modifiers, like all Events that modify the vanilla Gameplay, are delegated to their own separate queue for their duration.
Modifiers that completely redefine the regular Gameplay Loop are known as Game Modes.
