Cosmetic Prices

Cosmetic Prices (7.7.0)
Cosmetic Prices (7.7.0)

The prices for Cosmetics depends on their Rarity, with rarer Cosmetics being more expensive.

There were some exceptions to this, however, which is why the Developers standardised the pricing in Patch 7.7.0, affixing it fully to the Rarity.

The current prices can be seen in the image to the right of this section.

Visceral Outfits

Visceral Outfits are pricier than regular Ultra Rare or Legendary Outfits, due to them also unlocking a unique Memento MoriIconHelp mementoMoriIconHelp mementoMoriIconHelp mementoMori animation.

They cost an extra +270 Auric CellsIconCurrency auricCellsIconCurrency auricCellsIconCurrency auricCells or +5,400 Iridescent ShardsIconCurrency iridescentShardsIconCurrency iridescentShardsIconCurrency iridescentShards over the standard price for their Rarity (Visceral is a tag, not a Rarity itself), resulting in a full set costing 1,755 Auric CellsIconCurrency auricCellsIconCurrency auricCellsIconCurrency auricCells or 35,100 Iridescent ShardsIconCurrency iridescentShardsIconCurrency iridescentShardsIconCurrency iridescentShards.

Naughty Bear

Since Naughty Bear was the very first Visceral Outfit in Dead by Daylight, released before the standardisation, and did so with no extra cost over its Rarity, the Developers decided to leave its price as it was before Patch 7.7.0, making it the only Outfit not adhering to the standardised pricing, though to the benefit of Players interested in purchasing Naughty Bear[1].

Auric Cells vs. Iridescent Shards

In case of a Cosmetic featuring two prices, one in each currency, the price in IS is the same as the price in AC multiplied by a factor of x20.

Most Cosmetics have both prices available to them, allowing Players to purchase a Cosmetic either with money (AC) or with play-time (IS), though there are some exceptions:
